Harbor U
What is Harbor U?
Harbor U is Habor's offciial "university" setting where our beliefs are explored in an in-depth manner and their practical life-relevance is discussed in community. The goal of each course is that we would learn together how to "love the Lord our God with all our mind". We are committed to avoiding the error of pursuing knowledge for the sake of knowledge. Instead, we pursue Jesus Christ with our hearts as we learn the riches and depths of His Word.
Current Class - Resolving Conflict: Becoming a Peacemaker
Course Description: Conflict is an inevitable and pervasive part of our lives. It happens at work, at home, and among spouses and friends. What's your natural approach to conflict? Is it fight or flight? Whether we attack or avoid, we are choosing to deepen our conflicts instead of resolve them. The gospel calls us to a better way - the way of the peacemaker.
We will be learning the "4G" principles of resolving conflict created by Peacemakers Ministries. Peacemakers has developed and tested these biblical principles over many years in thousands of actual cases.
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God." - Matthew 5:9
