Faith and Work Class

Course Description: What gets you through your work week? Is it the gospel of retirement (one day it'll all be over)? Is it the gospel of significance (my work drives me and defines my life)? Maybe it's the gospel of comfort (work gives me the money I need to do what I want)? Do any of these gospels deliver? That's what we'll be talking about...
We will see how the gospel of Jesus Christ transforms our relationship to work by dethroning its place as a substitute god and, at the same time, restoring our work to its intended place - as one of the ways we are most clearly reflect the character of God.
As a part of the class, we will be helping each participant create their own customized "Faith and Work Vision Paper" as we go.

1. June 14 – Re-Integrating our Faith and Work
2. June 28 – Imaging God as Creator
3. July 5 – Imaging God as Cultivator
4. July 19 – Imaging God as Renovator
