Rev. Paul Kim -  

Rev. Paul Kim is the Church Planter and Pastor of Harbor Presbyterian Church in both Carlsbad and Carmel Valley. Paul received his B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley and his Masters of Divinity from Westminster Seminary California. He and his wife, Linda, have three children, Micah (9) and Kylie (4), and Jonah (1) and enjoy living in beautiful San Diego.

Carmel Valley Site Pastor

Rev. Eric Kapur -

Eric is a Florida boy but fell in love with Southern California when he moved here after graduating from the University of Florida.  The fish tacos, the weather, and the amazing diversity captured his heart.

After a few years in Southen Cal and marrying his wife, Amelia, he moved back to Florida to earn his Master of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in  Orlando. After seminary, they decided they were "going back to Cali" to serve in a church centered in the gospel, and passionate to see the gospel embodied in community and lived out in mercy.  

Eric and Amelia have three boys, Elijah (5), Isaiah (4) and Matthew(2).

College Pastor 

Kaiwin Su  

Kaiwin Su is a pastoral intern for the Harbor Carmel Valley site and currently serves as Pastor to the College Ministry.  Originally from the Bay Area, Kai received his B.S. in Management Science and a minor in Religion at the University of California San Diego and finished his Masters of Divinity at Westminster Seminary California in 2009.  

Favorite Books: Anything written by C.S. Lewis, The Unfolding Mystery: Discovering Christ in the Old Testament by Edmund Clowney, Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

Favorite Movie: Dumb and Dumber.

Music Director

Alex Fine - Email

After almost 3 years of missions and human rights work in Central America with Christian Light Foundation in Costa Rica, and International Justice Mission in Guatemala, Alex came out to Sunny San Diego and is now the Music Director for Harbor Carmel Valley.  Alex grew up in Naperville, Illinois and graduated from Wheaton College '07 where he studied Ministry and Biblical/Theological Studies, spending his free time as a youth pastor at his home church and playing with his band Colored By Numbers until graduation.

Favorite Books: Anything by Henri Nouwen and C.S. Lewis, The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, What is the What by Dave Eggers, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card.
